Have you heard of Grokker? It’s a site with thousands of cooking, yoga and fitness videos that have been curated to ensure the very best resources.  Best of all, you can access them whenever and wherever you want (as long as you have an internet connection).

When Fit Approach offered this opportunity to experience Grokker to #SweatPink ambassadors I was all in.  With my 3 month premium membership I could appreciate all the great features other than the convenience.  Here are my top five:

At a Glance – Before selecting a video you can see important information taht will you determine if it’s a good fit for you.  I especially like the equipment area.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve popped in an exercise DVD and then realized I didn’t have a key piece of equipment being used.

collections2. Collections – You can save your favorite videos in collections.  This makes them not only easy to find and grouped by topic but you can also take advantage of collections created by other Grokker users.

3. Activity Calendar – The activity calendar shows you how many active days you have had, which videos you watched those days and totals the time for yoga and other fitness activities.  You can also schedule videos if that is something that helps keep you active.

4. What’s New This Week – I’m impressed how many new videos are added regularly to Grokker.

5. Video Filter – The filters you can use to find videos is quite extensive.  Options include: intensity, equipment required, body parts, and workout time.  This makes it easy to zero in on videos that you’ll be motivated to complete.

Because I think it’s exercise is so important for all, I selected a video that everyone can use.  This basic daily exercise is a great start for those without a current program.  Of course, all of us can benefit from functional exercises that help us in our daily lives.

    I tend to stick to a quick yoga routine if i’m stuck inside at home. But I prefer running outside or attending yoga classes normally.

    I do a lot of stuff at the gym or outside, but if I’m doing stuff at home probably running on my treadmill or doing yoga!

    I like yoga. I work from home at my desk all day and have a pedal exerciser to keep me moving.
