Weekly Chronicles: Blogging Schedule

by Kay Lynn on January 20, 2013

blogging

Wow, the past week went fast!  Hope it did for you as well.  One of the things I’ve struggled with since reviving Weight Chronicles is a regular posting schedule. If it seemed random to you, that’s because it was!  I would write when I was inspired and had time which wasn’t consistent.

The past three weeks have helped me establish a rhythm and a clear plan.  Here’s the weekly schedule:
Sunday – Weekly Chronicles
Monday – Menu Plan Monday
Tuesday – Health/Fitness topic
Wednesday – Tales from the Scale
Thursday – Health/Fitness Topic
Friday – Recipe Friday
There will be variances here and there like the giveaway I posted yesterday but otherwise I’ll be following the schedule.  I hope you keep reading and share your knowledge and learn something too.

Around the Web

Here’s where I share some of the favorite blog posts from the past week.

FitFluential is hosting a DietBet January challenge. You have the opportunity to lose weight and win cash.  Hurry, because it starts tomorrow!

Get five tips to identify real olive oil at Eating it Real. Unfortunately, if the price is too good to be true, it’s probably not real.

The Family CEO shares how to make a framed, decorative bulletin board.  I’m not a DIYer but admire those that can.

This Skinny Chicken & Artichoke recipe from Emily Bites looks delicious.  If only my husband would eat spinach.

Midlife Finance has a great discussion on where to live after retirement.  We’re planning on Florida.

I’d never heard about making waffles or pancakes with yogurt.  This recipe for Apple-Cinnamon waffles from Tippy Toe Diet looks great!

Thanks for including my giveaway. Also, I like the schedule that you put out. I need to do the same thing to keep myself on track with blogging.

Khaleef, running two blogs is hard and I wasn’t paying enough attention to this one. It’s easier now that I have a schedule. Before then a week would pass and I’d remember I’d forgotten to post.
